James Hegedus, DDS
Dr. James Hegedus was born & raised in Muskegon & he & his wife Julie Hegedus have five children: Michelle, Mary Beth, Theresa, Andrea & Jim. Both Jim & Julie passed on their love of the dental profession to their family members as all five kids work in the dental office.
Jim graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry & did his dental residency at Evanston Hospital. He opened Great Lakes Dental Excellence in 1965, & after many years of dedicated service, he is happily retired.
Jim is enjoying retirement by golfing, fishing, hunting & raising Black Angus cattle on their farm in Whitehall. Dr. Jim misses his patients & he still loves engaging in the latest updates in the dental world & sharing his love for dentistry with his family.
